Giddyup Wind Ranchers

Interesting that clusters of wind turbines have now gained 'Ranch' status. Does this mean the US will be blanketed with wind projects, following California's 'Wind Rush'? In continental Europe they call them wind parks, in the UK and elsewhere, wind farms.  The Ranch term suggests a symbiotic relationship with cattle, does it not?  I assume to get ranch status you have to have some cattle and be much bigger than a farm - though I would be curious to see if there is an official classification out there.  Expecting a ten gallon hat and leather chaps, my attempts to find a wind rancher on-line have not yielded the intended imagery.  However, they're definitely out there as this book recounts.
